Hi all,   I am attempting to raise funds for my streaming internet radio station. It is called B 1212 Smooth Jazz radio, which is run with assistance from JB. This has been a dream that has come true to have this running through Live 365. I come from a broadcast background in Radio and TV but got out of it due to the cutthroat nature of the industry.   Unfortunately, this dream comes at a high cost. I am charged 60.00 USD per month for the hosting and music licensing through live 365. For live DJ applications, a new audio board is required, at $600.00 USD. New Mics $400.00 USD, high-speed internet for live stream $100.00 per month. Plus, I have to buy every track that is broadcast no breaks there.   Before the DMCA the Music industry took a very aggressive stance on non-profit streaming music stations a while back. I had started one of the early streaming music stations featuring smooth jazz called KJTS. I made zero money and did it because I loved it.   Because of the crackdown on licensing, I moved to Live 365 because they provided the music licensing. Unfortunately, Live 365 shut down. Sometime later, they were bought and resurrected not that long ago. Yea! That was good news. Unfortunately their rates shot up significantly, but I went forward. Live 365 is one of the few, if not only, hosts that provides the music licensing.   I work hard at providing a professional sounding station with the best mix possible that won't put you to sleep. Any help is much appreciated!
